- Kharen Spence
- I am a mom, wife, grandmother, sister and daughter. I come from a family of a lot girls with a few boys sprinkled in here and there. I have a very talented mom who can sew anything! I did not acquire this talent but not for not trying! We took home economics and were in 4-H which to me were brutal! I say "we" because I shared my challenges with a twin sister! Unfortunately she picked up more of the sewing gene than I did but she'll tell you I'm the better cook. My twin is also a very talented photographer and makes amazing cards. I have a younger sister who is a book and movie aficionado; a daughter with a knack for decorating; a son who is very creative with pen and pencil drawings; a daughter in law who is has a great eye and hand for jewelry; a step daughter who is an amazing mom and a niece and nephew who are both smart, talented and very giving. I could go on as talent runs rampant in our family to include my dad who is a wonderful writer and to me a very funny and witty man and my husband who had a wonderful eye for color and does beautiful automotive body work. I have tried many, many, many art mediums and right now cloth collage is my passion.
